MRICS Building Surveyor (London)
Responsibilities:
An experienced chartered Building Surveyor is required to provide a broad range of Professional, Project Management and Employers Agent services to Central and Local Government Departments and private clients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high quality service delivery with a proven track record in delighting clients. This will include the ability to develop deep lasting client relationships whilst providing a premium service resulting in new and repeat business across the whole range of built asset solutions.
Skills / Experience Required:
Essential:
Have detailed and thorough knowledge of both traditional and modern building construction technology, new build and refurbishment.
Team player and capable of influencing others to achieve high quality outputs.
Proven competency in use of Auto CAD
· The ability to advise and guide colleagues in a supportive, interactive fashion ensuring that targets are set, action is planned and goals are achieved.
· A professional Building Surveyor with sound technical competencies developed through varied project portfolios. Experience of property refurbishment and maintenance.
· Experience of controlling quality projects.
· An energetic and motivated professional with natural drive and innovative flair.
· A tenacious individual who asks questions, listens to answers, defines problems and implements solutions.
· A broad thinker who can take a commercial view of property and asset management.
· An ambition to drive the business forward and an interest to develop both new and existing services.
· An ability to develop business through building strong working relationships.
· Commercially aware and financially astute individual accountable for financial performance on all owned projects
· A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organised and can operate independently under a broad direction.
· A team player who can develop and maintain good relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals both within the firm and outside.
Desirable:
· Diverse knowledge gained from work in both Public and Private Sectors.
· An interest in further developing skills and experience in a wide range of building surveying functions, including facilities and maintenance management, professional surveying work and building pathology.
· Proven track record in Party Wall and Dilapidation Matters.
